A simple unit carrying a global vision.
Small Modules, Big Living.
This twin-unit duplex uses a hybrid modular system: ten units (five per 40-ft container) ship in just two containers. Certified factories build the kitchen/bath wet cores, while local DIY builders make the bedroom units — creating scalable capacity, low cost, and local jobs.
Local Materials Under $5000/unit

BeeHome Max built in China, 2020
Where BeeHome began —
our first R&D factory in Guangdong, China, building the earliest prototypes that proved BeeHome’s manufacturing workflow.
Shipped to BC Canada, 2021
Our first R&D prototype tested across all four seasons.
Inside the BeeHome Max
This 10 m² BeeHome Max prototype includes a built-in Rocket Stove heater, upper-and-lower bunk beds, a foldable workstation, a forced-filtration fresh-air system, passive-house-grade doors and windows, a high-efficiency heat-pump AC, and a 2.5 kW solar roof.
The First BeeHome — Built in My Vancouver Backyard, Spring 2013
Under a large pine tree beside the garage, I spent one week completing this 8×8 ft cabin — a small shelter with a skylight, a door, two windows, and a sleeping loft.
No solar panels were added at the time because the entire structure sat under deep shade.
This simple project became the beginning of the BeeHome journey.
